Analysis of Submission of time

The gate screeches open
Darkness fills the day
Thick air won't let me breath
Its here to have its say
Out here in the cold
Biting through my every vein
Tears weep for your love
But my soul refrains the blame
I am leaving this cold heart
For love to try to tame
But my feet are in this deep mud
And the sides are thin falling rubble
My bare hands tare at the fine sharp dust
Hope has no foothold here
I suffocate in this emptyness
Yet you realise me again
The grip holds mine tight
And you call back the heart of day from the  sap of night
And you tell me it will be okay
Or at least it might
So I submit to your time
To love your clear insight
