Analysis of Save Me
Would you save me if you knew
The awful things I had to do
Would you save me if you saw
The side of me that was so flawed
If you saved me, if you did
After all the wrongs I hid
Would you regret saving me
If you saw what I had seen
If I were you I wouldn’t help
Knowing the things that I had felt
Leave me here to be alone
With the past I’ll never show

About this poem
This poem is about the past I wish I didn’t have. I won’t say what happened, but I lost ages 9-14 of my childhood. There’s so much I wish I could take back.
