Analysis of Reflection
Richard Groff 1957 (Pottstown, Pa.)
A reflection of God is all I see;
In the mirror as I stare back at me.
A humble, loving and gracious soul;
The weight of His love has taken its toll.
If I boast, I boast I know Him;
Everything I have, I owe Him!
Anything I’ll ever be,
Is all because He’s loving me.
A humble, gracious, loving Lord;
Is much more than I can afford!
And why He shows His love to me,
Is more than these blind eyes can see!
Look and see, I did not lie;
The reflection in my Father’s eye!
Yes, this is the way God sees us!
Because when He looks, He just sees Jesus!
