Analysis of Times Like This

It’s times like this when you feel a sting,
And realise that’s exactly why you have the ring.
Times like this when you listen to that thing,
Then you hear that song cry and sing.

It’s times like this when you have a broken heart,
That everything around you feels it’s falling apart.
It’s times like this you don’t know where to start,
It’s times like this your words turn to art.

It’s times like this when you feel there’s no love,
Times like this you need your angels from above.
It’s times like this sometimes you need a shove,
Times like this you wish there was a dove.

It’s times like this you think of the past,
Times when we used to have a blast.
It’s like this you think how long will it last,
Times like this that never go fast.

It’s times like this when you don’t know what to do,
Times like this feeling so blue,
Times like this you don’t know who you can turn to,
Times like this that I still know I want you.
