Analysis of Forgotten

Napping baby wrapped in stained rags
The fresh new scent should calm their wiles.
He cries out but they do not hear
For they are dazed by the colors of the earth's new tones
He watched as they sucked the nectar from their veins.
As his lips crusted with the last of mother's milk
He cries out, but they are no longer there.

The days have become uncertain.
The now sunken baby, weak, unloved, and wasted away
