Analysis of A Story of Us

A story of Us 2000 (Champhai)

We were a dyad back then,
What are we for now.
A drifter? No, for it cannot be.
For the life we shared,
Lessened by the absence of words,
And the distance between us.
Short i know,
But the death's head will last,
Last until my last breath.
If this is my last Poem for you,
Keep it in your heart.
For even a cinch thing like that,
Will melt my heart still.
