Analysis of You Take Me

Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)

You.
You take me.
Where you want to.
And I don't question.
I'm with you to go.

Why or how my willingness not to care,
Wherever it is you take me?
As long as we are together.
Rain or shine.
Dressed for the occasion.
Or not at all to impress done to wear.

Yet...
There I am with you.
Taken and allowing anything you do.
As if condoning to be owned.
At the command of your every move.
And giving it up to love it.

Where ever you go to take me.
No matter the time or place.
Back to back; face to face.
I am with you there.
Moaning to groan.
Loving each move to approve not to fake.
Day and night.
And night until dawn to prolong the crave.
With you to want more,
Done with you and it to prove,
It is only you for me I live and choose.

'Uh...
Excuse me.
You two do realize,
This is a public restaurant!?'

'Of course.
Why?
What is the problem?'

'Well...
Your sighing and moaning,
Has begun to disgust and annoy...
The other patrons.
Who are trying to eat their banana splits,
With spoons.
And not sitting to do this,
Serving each other with their fingertips.
Then...
Making a scene by kissing and licking,
Together their lips!'

'So...
What do you suggest or recommend we do?'

'Leave.
Go home.
Or get a room somewhere.
To do what you do not so obviously done!'

'But...
Your sign outside clearly says,
The best banana split there is anywhere.
Come in.
Spoon, lick, and enjoy...
The delicious flavor.
Savored in anyway you wish.'

'Leave.
Go.
And...
I'll pretend you have been rude.
So the other customers will understand,
There are limits to what we serve...
And in here everyone is expected,
To obey the rules.
And besides...
That may begin a lusting to do things,
Not on the menu!
Now...
Both of you.
Follow me to the kitchen.'

'Show me what you would have done,
If you were not interrupted!'

'What?
What do you think we are?
Exhibitionists?'
