Analysis of Naked Soul

I saw your naked soul in the post coital fog. For a brief moment you showed your vulnerable self.  You needed me in that moment and it felt like the moon showing herself for the first time.

Then I broke a breaking that I never thought I could fix and you ran from me. I never recovered the you I knew before my breaking.  Yes I say glimpses but it was not the same.

I grieve the loss of myself and the loss of you.  I am not enough to fill your need and that shatters me into a thousand pieces.

Each time I draw near to you my soul crashes into the rocks of a deserted sea and I am a little bit less than I was before
