Analysis of NEW BEGINNINGS LIKE THIS

She's a small-town girl, in her teens
A lovely family is all what she needs
She's got bigger dreams and kindest heart
But the word cancer shattered her heart
It's about the day when she got the news
While she's giving her exam in school
the silent sobs been her loudest cry
All the memories flashing in her mind
Walking through the hospital corridor
Seeing her papa there broke her heart

She's in her weakest moments with empty pockets
And all is got is lots of hope and courage
But seeing him in pain made her weaker than ever
Slowly her dreams and goals started fading away
And It's about the day she saw her papa in home again
And It's the same day but a different year
But there's a genuine smile of all her near and dears
And that year felt like the most beautiful year
With many moments of sadness and happiness

And she is me, you and everybody out there
Who have no idea what's going in their lives
I've been there and everything will be alright
And just remember you are not alone in this
Things will get in place, so don't be so sad
The more you fear, try to forget or hide,
You end up in your worst nightmare
Just face everything with hope and courage
One day the progress you made will be unbelievable
And for everybody who can relate to me
" You did really great and I'm proud of you "
I really meant my words and you need to hear this

About this poem

This poem is about the time when I first heard about my dad suffering with cancer. That left me traumatized for a while and he is diagnosed. This poem is an inspiration for girls who have no idea what's going in their life. I wish sound health, luck and success for everybody out there.
