Analysis of THE JOKE
mad hippie poet 1974 (new jersey)
I like to have people think that they are laughing with me when deep inside I know they are laughing at me. I never claimed to be anything but different somewhat of an acquired taste. lately, life has been testing me to see how much I can take before I break.
First, it was taken my legs away, there are times when I can not even get out of bed. second, something is messing with my liver that the doctors can not figure out, and now my depression is back fucking with my head. I am sorry but I did not miss you, my old friend.
What is the joke and why tell it now shit man it is getting old? I hate how this pain and these thoughts are starting to wage war inside my head. some one tell me please a different kind of joke one that will not have me tear up and choke
