Analysis of Stars that didn't shine on me

I want to know the zodiac of the one,
Who has got you by their side,
Just to look at the stars,
That didn't shine on me.

I thought if I become capable enough,
You would finally end up with me.
But I had forgotten that,
The King is meant for the queen, not the Ace.

I thought if I was beautiful enough,
You would finally notice me.
But I had forgotten that,
The moon is never noticed in the presence of the sun.

I thought if I was strong enough,
You would finally value me.
But I had forgotten that,
Titanium is never valued over gold.

So I stopped trying,
To look for faults in me.
And just accepted the fact,
That you weren't my destiny.
