Analysis of Blue Hole

Minhaaj M. Budye 1996 (Mumbai, Maharashtra)

I saw if from afar,
It was a beautiful shiny star.

The one I thought, I could reach,
so I decided to walk towards it.

It was easy going there,
No worries, no hardships.

It's the place where my heart raced,
My eyes were dilated.

Kinda mesmerizing view.
Kinda temporizing hue.

And once I realised, I was near,
I lost all the fear, so I approached it clear.

I run and I run until I reach by the shore,
I saw the star sinking into the deep blue hole.

I was no more incisive,
So I jumped indecisive .

I went deeper.
and deeper into the sea,

where the secrets of sea reside,
a place for no man to be alive,

But I couldn't resist my love for the sinking star.
I continue to dive deep and hard.

I saw a beautiful arch,
A blue and bold.
The kind that attracts everyone,
whoever it gets ahold.

I was about to cross the diving limit.
when my warning  light began to blink.

I realise I am too deep, so away from the ground.
I should reach up before I am lost in this town.

I feel entering a trance.
I feel like a dance.

I can see the star calling me in.
I can't stop myself from sinking.

i tryna call for help, I lost my direction,
I no more know my entrance or my departure.

Everything was dark surrounding me,
yet I was looking at the star continuously.

Its the moment before I'll be gone.
should I let myself sink in?
should I drown?

My dazed self, couldn't be self- helped.
As the love i see in this blue hole,
I feel enslaved.

I would rather let myself sink,
with this happiness, I'll leave.
