Analysis of The Gossip Game

Indistinctly, chattering in the corner
In the dark space where rumors thrive
A social construct of community
A place where truth can not survive

We speak of friends, we talk of fools
We converse on people as it applies
The details are critical to tell a tale
Figments of truth exaggerated by lies

The person who speaks it is the root
The person who listens is the shame
For now their opinion is forever altered
The victim a subject in the gossip game
