Analysis of The Voice Lost and Unheard

THE VOICE LOST AND UNHEARD
She’s a little lonely girl of some teen years
Raised up to be the best and nothing less
She fought for her cause and gave all for it
Expectations of her clouded her imaginations
Her imaginations, she chased to be her reality
So when her reality was not the true reality
She’s lost and hidden in painful mediocrity
Scared of not being enough or worthy at all
She believes she has nothing to offer to help
“Maybe I’m just lucky, won’t pass the test”
She’s given up her dreams and lost herself
Not who the world wants, not who she wants
This is the story of a voice lost and unheard
This is the story of a voice swallowed by noises
This is the story of a girl, the girl who is me

She’s a shadow of her childish self and energy
This wasn’t the life she really wanted to live
She wasn’t loud for all to hear her opinion
The choices were made for her soon enough
She wasn’t bold enough to take her stand
Then she was given some different destiny
She’s living so low afraid to look at the skies
Knowing she was meant to be but she is not
She envies the ones who know their life path
Comforted that she is better than others outside
She was shy and scared for the big dreams she had
It shouldn’t have been this, shouldn’t have been her
This is the story of a voice lost and unheard
This is the story of voice swallowed by noises
This is the story of a girl, the girl who is me

She is taking up another challenge now
Being motivated to prove her capability
She is walking up the stage of life again
Hopefully her voice won’t fail her this time
She wants to make a difference to the world
Maybe not the best but she will be her best
She’s a shining star and she knows it well
Tough times make tough people they say
She roars like the lion in this jungle of life
Willpower like the strength of an elephant
She’s coming with the strides of the warrior
To take her true place , to take her own glory
This is the story of a voice lost and unheard
This is the story of voice swallowed by noises
This is the story of a girl, the girl who is me
