Analysis of Our Daily Bread
Now, this our daily bread
Without butter, without tea
It is so sour in taste
And somehow we wish
That we could say no
But it's almost impossible.
Daily, they say they're having a meeting
A crucial meeting
In a vast group
Some having long unshaved beards
Clearing their throats
As if they have catarrh.
This is their daily "wise saying"
"We are looking into the matter"
"The matter of the country and security"
They feed us with bitter lies
Whereas, they meet and talk
And flush it down with wine.
"Daily Bread" we call it
But it chokes us so bad
To the extent that we've lost our voices
We can't chew it
It's permanent abode is our throat
Someday, we'll spew it out!!!
