Analysis of Maybe

Maybe we weren't perfect,

Maybe i was too insecure;

Maybe you were too mysterious,

Maybe all these fights;

Were just meant for us;

For us to see the truth,

For me to let you go,

Maybe it was all there

Just to make me appreciate the fact

That we were never meant to be together.

But even after all these years

I can still feel you all over me

I still picture us together

I still hold on to you, to us

That maybe, just maybe

We were meant to part ways

Just to find each other again

But if I'm being honest

We were meant to part ways

To find me again

And i did.

But i just wanna tell you

That i'm still

very much in love with you

For it wasn't me who left

It was you

Maybe we'll be together

In another life

Maybe i'll wait for you
