Analysis of Imperial Afflictions

I lost my smile when happiness came knocking.
Overwhelming it was till I Lost my stance.
Hard on the ground I fell,
Rolling over to my death bed.

My innocence washed away with the tides of joy on a blue day by the bay I imagined
While trying to find solace with some killjoys lying next to me at the sickbay.
Depressing it was for the while I stayed.

Love,
Love hung up on me at the bar
leaving me with no smile,
a pile of guilt, my shallow soul
and some bandages for my injuries and the remains of my broken heart.

My soul,
My shallow sunk deep into the hollow of mind
so I dived deep down to the bottom
of every bottle I could find,
Trying to find myself and an answer
as to why nothing good is ever good for me.

Friendships and relationships
like all other ships sailed away
leaving more cracks on my broken heart,
All docks, I'll stay away from come tomorrow.

When I looked for a shoulder to cry on,
My face got pierced by the spears glued to their shoulders like that of an armour.
They were all like warriors but with humour.

Everything has been a facade,
The love, happiness, joy, friendships and relationships.
They were all fake like wolves in sheep clothing.

So I learned to gallop the pain inflicted
because there's no gain wallowing in affliction.
When I can stand tall,
put on a smiling face,
And live life in solitude
till the time is right.
