Analysis of a teenage rant

maybe it’s just me bc i would never
the second i walk in the doors it’s never me
it’s always
you
what’s wrong? why do you look sad? what’d he say? how are you?
maybe it’s my fault
maybe i added to the problem
but i always thought maybe
possibly
it could be about
me
not for long maybe a minute or two
just to catch you up on what i’ve been going through but if i do all you’d say was
oh
maybe laugh. maybe that sucks but always
right back to you
so i try a different way
then maybe you’ll get it maybe you’ll see
but then i get a call saying
stop being rude to me
what your problem, gee
the question i longed for so close, yet unreachable all at once
so i bury it down
yet again
to spare you any burden
bc god forbid you feel an emotion thats not yours
god forbid I actually have feelings
god forbid it takes an ounce of attention away from your little “problems”
god forbid i do something slightly out of character or even
dare i say
feel?
