Analysis of I remember

I remember when large candy bars
were a quarter, licorice a penny
a stick.
I remember when bubble gum was a
penny and gasoline was 32.9 cents
a gallon.
I remember when a movie was a dollar
on weekdays and $1.50 on weekends.
When I was a kid I would get a giant
chocolate chip cookie by buying
something in the bakery.
I wish prices were like that nowadays.
