Analysis of You don't bear a fall

The haughty words of the proud reads:

Quintessential me
Beside myself is me of blue blood
My life is not without grandeur
Yeah, I am on the top of the earth-top
Shall penury ever dwell with my person?

Important me
Beside myself is best of dignity
Is it uppity or royalty,
That I do not lack?
Not even a pinch of penny-pinching life

Explicit me
I ride the crest in my utopian sphere
Is there any tormented there?
Any small fry may die
I will rather be a joyous cold fish

Downtrodden me
Beside myself is mediocrity
Where is my superfluous habitat
and chariot with which I bestrode the sphere?
What a paradoxical irony
That shall astound even posterity!

Helpless me
Beside myself is a steep terrace to obscurity
Finger-biting moment of remorse; anxieties
Hysteria, now order of my days
"May I exist", my crestfallen person says

Enlightened me
Beside myself are evergreen lessons
Worth saving for  posterity
Hmm, so pride is supplanting personified
What so foolish and blackened seasons!

Wise me
Beside myself; a glut of wisdom
Copious enough for nations
Pride precedes an enormous fall
Now I know after all

I don't bear a fall

About this poem

This masterpiece, borne out of veritable inspiration and experiences, is one that demonstrates the awful stages of pride. It unfolds the tragic consequences of seeing other people as diminutive and insignificant. Clearly, this humble debut proves that pride sets the pace for a 'big fall'.
