Analysis of One Heart, One Soul, Too Much.

There's a limit to the pain and hurt one heart alone can bear,
When this life seems too unhappy, and the world seems too unfair;
When you've given all the loving that you have inside to give,
When you've lost the strength you've always known, and lost the will to live.
When you're sick of all the sadness, of the fear, of the crying,
When you fight so hard to stay alive, but want to give up trying,
It's hard to know just what to do, just how to face each day,
Because inside you've had enough of hurt...it just won't go away.
There's a limit to the anger and the sadness one can take,
Before their life becomes too bitter, and that heart begins to break.
When it seems that you can do it, but then something else takes place,
When you think you're coming out ahead, but you start to lose the race,
When people that you care about believe that you can cope,
When it hurts to let them down, and yet you've given up on hope,
It's hard to keep a smile, and to keep away the doubt,
When you know that hurt and sadness are what life is all about.
There's a limit to your patience on encouragement when spoken,
And it won't take much before you fall; before that heart is broken.
When you're tired and your weary, and you're stuck for what to do,
When you're trapped by those who love you and the faith they have in you,
When you know that death means freedom but you're being asked to stay,
When you couldn't hurt another...yet you're hurting every day,
It's hard to make the choice to live, and twice as hard to die,
Because you want a break from all the pain, but cannot say good-bye.
____________________________________
It's hard to pick up pieces, when your strength, it falls apart,
And it's difficult to find a way to mend a broken heart,
It's difficult to start again, believing you can win,
When your sights are set on leaving, and you're wanting to give in.
But you've hurt before and managed and can do it all again,
Regardless of the fear, or the sadness or the pain.
Because that heart you have inside of you has too much left to give,
It holds on tight to everything and every right to live,
And within that heart there's so much strength, you cannot help but smile,
And it's knowing this that helps you through, and makes this life worthwhile.
