Analysis of GARDEN OF REBIRTH

Rebecca Mumo 1996 (Mombasa)

Garden of Rebirth

Oh! The shell that engulfs and strangle,
Choking and finishing me in its wrangle,
Am held in there not moving a single inch,
The only thing i can do is just a little winch,

To me it's like a small cage am a prisoner,
But to the world they are expecting me sooner,
I am a blessing and am growing daily slowly,
I can feel her emotions even when am jowly,

Yes am a growing child in my mother's womb,
I even hear things though am blind and dumb,
Her womb is my palace, garden, my everything,
I know after birth one day I will be something,

Am born and first she smiles to me sweetly,
Her smile more than gold dimes goes deeply,
Her glare so intense hard to resist to stare,
Her love so strong she holds me with care.
