Analysis of Deborah: The Land Bleeds

Deborah: The Land Bleeds

Preferring to seek your destiny in the ivory tower whereas your mates were living secluded lives in their husbands homes. Dreams of education opening gates for you, spurred you on, burning the midnight candle yielded fruit. Lofty dreams of being a teacher were cut short, and being a nurturer were cut short. Such a wasted life and destiny!
Oh, Deborah!! You were gifted

Believing in the almighty God and his son, Jesus, made you bold. You declared that only the savior gave you success in your exams. But fanatics rose up in uproar, crying for your innocent blood. How can they take life that they did not create? You were mighty, yet small. That accounts for the upheaval following your death.
Oh, Deborah!! You were real

Writing in social media can make or mar. Devils on the prowl in the guise of religious faithfuls, reading meaning in a simple post, move with murderous rage to destroy and kill. Looting, maiming, destroying and killing all in the name of protest for their own held in iron bars for this heinous crime. How can a religion teach hate and wickedness?
Oh, Deborah!! You died untimely

Wasted beauty, dashes hope of family, resources used in your training just went down the drain. Your death was not in vain. The caliphate cannot keep mute. Politicians with ambition in their kitty whispered that Mum is the word. Deletion and withdrawal of words mouthed or written in haste became the order of the day.
Oh, Deborah!! Your blood cries out for vengeance
