Analysis of KEEP THINGS HUMMING

Debbie Middaugh AKA TURBO1904 1963 (San Diego, CA.)

 When you're at your
Lowest of lows.
  We all know how
The story goes.

Down on your luck,
Can't catch a break.
  No matter what,
Can't get a fair shake.

Depression eats away,
At the sane mind.
  Physical dexterity,
On the decline.

The mind full of dark
Thoughts and things.
  Can't even fly with
These broken wings.

I sit and ponder, what
Will become of me.
  Held captive by
The powers that be.

Sixty years old and
All alone.
  I rented a room,
Don't have a home.

Never expected to be
Old and solo.
  Even the LONE Ranger
Had Tonto.

Yet, here I am solo
And lonely.
  All alone a one
Trick pony.

I did not see old
Age coming.
 Life just keeps,
Things humming.
