Analysis of Recreational Madness

Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)

Rocking block head knockers.
Dope tripping coke sniffers.
Faithfully faking a legitimizing to worship,
Corruption and crime.
With a doing to try and find creative ways,
To solicit more people to release their minds.
And join them who defend,
The normalizing these crazy times...
We all seem forced to live in!

Recreational madness,
Has begun to begin.
An accepted to approve,
Youthful juvenile movement.
Given consent without its end.

No one today,
Can honestly proclaim themselves blessed.
Of keeping their innocence protected.
And what will that attempt prove to do?
To benefit their efforts to prevent?
When the ones who rule and control over,
The marketing to sell sold...
Pills that cure and vaccines to update doses.
Medications taken to numb away,
Consciousness and the uselessness...
Of effective common sense.
That leaves a few who still confess,
A bragging of it kept to have.
With a making no sense at all to do.
And who remembers truth once valued?

'Excuse me?
Is there anything you can suggest,
Or recommend.
I Should take that will keep me safe.
And permanently away from deception?'

'Of course.
I call them my weekend specials.
Here.
Use this one.
And I guarantee you,
Deception will nolonger...
Be in your mind to remain to exist.'

'But...
Isn't this a gun?'

'Sure is.
And...
If you follow my directions,
Only one dose will do.'

'This...
This is madness.'

'Look...
I am a business man.
You asked a question.
And I answered it.
Did I say anything about payment?
No.
I can not make a living giving free advice.
You want the gun or not?'

'No!
I'm not out of my mind!'

'I wish I had a dollar,
From everyone who said that.
And then expect me,
To become their personal psychiatrist.
I'm neither that nor a mind reader.
You folks are something else.
Go home and get a reality check.
If you expect that from me,
You'll have to pay for it.
Leave me alone. Go!'
