Analysis of The Race is Fixed
Richard Groff 1957 (Pottstown, Pa.)
Why can’t you simply be content
To stay within the Scripture
John and Paul and Peter did
They saw the bigger picture
God was made manifest to them
They saw our precious Savior
They would not go beyond His Word
But sought to win His favor
Many men teach different things
And they all think they’re right
To draw disciples after them
And teach them how to fight
But what is it they’re fighting?
Is it truth or is it terror?
Do they spread the gospel truth?
Do they seek peace or just teach error?
