Analysis of What a doleful night it is

What a doleful night it is,
To be haunted by the vexed memories of the past,
To be ill of the crippling guilt; like a disease,
And to be drunked from regrets–that'll indelibly last,

Still got that hangover from the mistakes i did;
T'was the endless cycle of shame that would drown me forever,
Words that i kept silent; unable to be freed,
And still overly thinking–what if i acted sooner?

Though everything right now seems to fall off in vain,
Fantasizing false reality to escape this abyss;
But, such delusions–merely futile–can't help loose this chain,
Truly, what a doleful night–it is.
