Analysis of Heavenly Father (2)
Heavenly Father (2)
Author: Mark V. Markov
Times have changed
Times are strange
Heavens here I come
But I ain’t the same
Heavenly Father
Heavenly Father I’m coming home
Times go by and it is to be
Lord Jesus Christ
You always have been
The closest friend to me
Heavenly Father
Heavenly Father I’m coming home
You took me in
And You brought me out
Sometimes I was lost in the tides
Lost and found and turned around
By the Holy Fire in Your eyes
Sometimes I cried
You taught me life
And I never wanna say goodbye
Heavenly Father
Heavenly Father I’m coming home
Heavenly Father
Heavenly Father I’m coming home
Sometimes my life was right
Sometimes my life was wrong
And it hurts so much
It's been so long
Heavenly Father
Heavenly Father I’m coming home
In this selfless love
I'm no more alone
The rise to a never fall
My Lord You've changed my heart of stone
Now I always have Your love
Feels like I've seen Your face so many times
Everyday when I was apart
And I do care about the sunshine
Heavenly Father
Heavenly Father
I'm coming home
You took me in
And You brought me out
Sometimes I was lost in the tides
Lost and found and turned around
By the Holy Fire in Your eyes
Feels like
I’ve seen Your face so many times
Everyday I've been apart
And I do care about the sunshine
In this selfless love
I'm no more alone
The rise to a never fall
My Lord You've changed this heart of stone
Now I always have Your love
Heavenly Father
Heavenly Father
I'm coming home
Heavenly Father
Heavenly Father
I'm coming home...
Matthew 6:8-10 (ESV)
8 Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.
9 Pray then like this: “Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name.
10 Your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
James 1:17-18 (ESV)
17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights,
with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.
18 Of his own will he brought us forth by the word of truth,
that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.
Revelation 1:12-14 (ESV)
12 Then I turned to see the voice that was speaking to me,
and on turning I saw seven golden lampstands,
13 and in the midst of the lampstands one like a son of man,
clothed with a long robe and with a golden sash around his chest.
14 The hairs of his head were white, like white wool, like snow.
His eyes were like a flame of fire,
John 3:16 (ESV)
For God So Loved the World
16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son,
that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
