Analysis of Danbury

Richard Poor 2956 (Somewhere)

The days of summer played
Lakes of cool sweet water
Tanned brown in the sun
Rich if you had a quarter,

Youth barefooted, hot tar roads
Wandering wherever adventure took
Life was all in this moment
A fishing line and a hook,

Rides up old rte. 7 thru town, country
Along where the ' tonic flows
In fall with colors bursting
To try to understand what God knows...
R. Poor
