Analysis of Exile of an independent mind
Ronald Tirino 1962 (NYC)
Exile of an independent mind
From the solitude of silenced voices
Rising springs arise anew
Roots run deep
Within the sanctuary of our lives
Arriving without its coming
Beyond the dark and light
Emerge through earth and rock
Metaphors of the mind
Reach toward open skies
In receptacles of our being
Alive to the generation of its time
Through the gates of fears
In the solitude of being truthful to itself
Freedom of a different kind
Awakens to our experience
