Analysis of The Darkness

John gets in trouble,
John is punished,
help him,  Lord not to
die,

his parents follow the dark
one,  he pays the price,
don't know how much more
he can take,

scarred by many years of the
whip, yet, soon, Lord,  he is going
to give,  careful mad parents,
you are messing with a creature
that is about to change.

About this poem

This is a poem about a story I have been toying with for years. I just have not gotten the pieces locked in place.
