Analysis of If I were in charge of the World poetry performance task

If I Were in Charge of the World
A poem by James Andrew T. S.

If I were in charge of the world
I'd get rid of banana flavored laffy taffy
And yellow starburst
And lemon chocolates.

If I were in charge of the world
There'd be unlimited popcorn
And free healthcare
And modestly priced food.

If I were in charge of the world
You wouldn't have food poisoning
You wouldn't have misfortune
You wouldn't even have poverty

If I were in charge of the world
People would be nice
And be happy
And no one would harm others

If I were in charge of the world
There'd be more kindness
And more generosity
And much less bullying

If I were in charge of the world
All good people would be treated equally
And there'd be no war
And no murder
The world would be happier
If I were in charge of the world.
