Analysis of Perhaps. And...Just Maybe

Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)

Perhaps.
And...
Just maybe.
Those opportunities,
Yet to come.
With more to explore.
Possibilities to go left ignored.
Will soon dawn upon the ones,
Who choose directions...
Told to remove and eliminate,
From choices they insist to take anyway.
Will teach to them eventually a lesson.
That prevents their anguish and heartaches.

Leaving this stubbornness to celebrate,
Proving there is no victory that honors...
Those who refuse a pointless agenda.
To follow to the bottom of darkened valleys.
Is a difficult position to take and convince,
There is more enlightenment to find it...
Than that to find climbing,
Towards the top of a mountain.
With effort to endeavor.
And patience to tolerate sacrificing time to do.

Perhaps.
And...
Just maybe,
Admitting to choose...
No one benefits from taking foolish moves.
With this done to prove,
Those who have experienced and recovered...
From their own stupidity.
Are not the ones to continually ignore.
Like others before choosing to explore,
The results of ignorance.
And what its benefits ultimately provides!

Perhaps.
And...
Just maybe.
A quality of life,
Wished to want and receive.
Will one day have minds,
Surgically removed...
Out from their blinded stuck up behinds!
Shown and made to see clearly,
A reality.
As bright as the rising of Sun until it sets.
With all to agree,
It is what it is.
Leaving no one to perceive or believe,
Themselves to be exceptions.
Regardless how far up,
Their minds remain stuck.
In a blinding,
Of their own darkened mentalities.
