Analysis of Better Days

Kristi Parfait 1988 (Louisiana)

From the day we first met, I knew you would be the person I would never forget, As time passes us by, Together forever, It's you and I, When that day came and you asked me to marry you, I was shocked, thinking to myself that this couldn't be true, To truly find someone that was capable of Loving me, A woman scorned and a person who didn't believe, Somehow, you have managed to turn my life around, What I thought was lost inside of me, has now been found, I'm thankful for everything that you do, For showing me a love I never knew, I appreciate you more than you'll ever know, All the memories we are making, Our love can only grow
