Analysis of car crash

you look at me
sp sweetly
but what you don't see
are the torn seams
sewn together
precariously
you see me whole
but you don't know
where he staked his claim
his stake remains
stuck between
my church and state
I tried
to lose sight
of our life
but we're a car crash
of soul ties
he can't look away
and likewise.
