Analysis of The Magic of the Gulf

There is something to be said
About the gulf of the ocean at night.
It’s such a different world
Than that of the daylight.
The way the sand sparkles
In between your toes
Or all the twinkles in the distance
For as far as your sight goes.
How the moon just glistens
On the water for miles it seems
And the stars lining the blanket
that once were the suns ray beams.
How the sting ray dance to the music
Beneath the rolling waves
While sand crab scurry down
The path the seashore paves.
So much magic unfolds
Along the seaside at dark
I even catch glimpses at sunset
Of a shiver of shark
It may be rare or even
Far fetched to believe
But once I even got to
See an anemone.
Yes, there is surely
something to be said
It’s so plain to see.
But this must stay
Between just you and me.
As I walk along the beach
Whispering my secrets, hopes and dreams
To the man in the moon
I thank the universe for
Letting me be a part
Of this magical loom.
This is the place I recharge
And clear all my mind
To cleanse my soul
And leave the rest far behind.
