Analysis of You, me, forever

This is the last throw of the dice
As I am feeling awful
I want you back
So I’ve done something thoughtful
Just look at our faces
It wasn’t so bad
With you I smiled
But now I feel sad
In the last two years
With you by my side
I have felt nothing but love, joy and pride
Now I feel empty, lost and alone
And it upsets me that we can’t talk on the phone
I guess that’s my fault as I am to blame
I pushed you away with my anger and pain
I know I messed up and wasn’t too clever
But Hayley I hoped it was you, me, forever!

About this poem

This is a poem to my ex girlfriend that I am hoping will help to win her back. I left a photo album on her doorstep with this written inside.
