Analysis of Growing
.growing.
I want to leave this heaven
And go back to the place
Where razor blades were not hidden
And the streets were never tamed
And blood poured blue
Because red never matched
And the reflection in my eyelids
Were the deepest darkest of black
And pain was never normal
and no one ever flinched
And the throb of souls not loving
Was a simply normal thing
And you don't get praised
On breathing or staying alive
And no one asked about it
If they did then you lie
And the only poem in sight
Are the ones you think in your head
Because if you were to say it out loud
It would be things that can't be said
And if you show that your shaky
Or scared or mad or sad
You'll get ripped and picked apart
Until your broken bones in a bag
They'll take your vital organs
But the most tasty is the heart
Because it's fun to watch you scream
As they slowly tear it apart
The vultures learn from others
And its passed down the chain
Getting your heart ripped out
Helps prevent future pain
They never learned
That to live you need blood
But red never matched
Because reds the color of love
They all cut so deep
That before the blood turned red
They saw glimpses of blue
Because their hearts not in there cest
The closest thing to a artery
Was the thumping in their wrist
But some cut through that
Now the cease to exist
I want to go back
To the place that i can die
And i can tear out my lungs
Without a “what? why?”
I want to go back
To where love is twice as hard
Because i think somethings growing
I think it might be my heart
