Analysis of Fresh Start

The secrets are out
And they’re all exposed.
There’s still some darkness
And these times are tough.
My heart once was heavy
With all the secrets I hid inside.
But now
My heart feels lighter than a butterfly.
My heart feels happier
And I feel the sun
Sending its sunbeam of love
Through the frosted window.
I can feel the snow melting,
The temperature rising,
The ice breaking,
With the promise of spring.
