Analysis of A No Pressure Poem
I want to write a quick lil sonnet now
To help me see that poetry is fun.
I do not need to stress out over how
Much time it takes before a poem’s done.
I shouldn’t force myself to find right rhymes
Or make the poem sound poetical,
Or try too hard to fill in all the lines,
Or make the format look aesthetical.
Who cares if there’s a hole for missing words?
Or poem planning page without much there?
It’s fine to search online for cooler verbs
And form some phrases that will need repair.
As long as something works out in the end,
I’ll have my fun with poems I can mend.
