Analysis of "My God"
talia williams 1997 (washington adventist hospital)
I was once afraid of being alone. not realizing how peaceful it can be
the time spent alone talking to my God, is a whole new feeling of being free
he's that one friend who will never forsake you, no matter how many times you mess up
as long as your willing to listen to him, the open door he has with you will never be shut
i thought i would never get out of darkness but look at me now
I'm lowkey a Christian poet i can see God lookin down at me like wow
i'm not trying to impress the world but the creator of it
yall think these parties are fun but i bet heaven is lit
you think what you went through was rough
look at what they did to Jesus just thinking about it is tough
he gave his life for humans who treated him so foul
it hurts but if he never did that where would we be now?
