Analysis of Christian Ponder

Richard Groff 1957 (Pottstown, Pa.)

It’s good to have you talk to me, it’s good to hear your voice
You take away my fears and doubts and make my heart rejoice

O God you do all this for me, but I can offer nothing
I stand before your throne O LORD; I came here for your loving

I know I don’t deserve it and I’ve caused you lots of grief
But in the end, you offered me an everlasting peace
