Analysis of Pain she hides

She hides, she cries, but she never tells,
Oh the pain inside, it hurts like hell
The silent cries at night
No one to listen to her insight
She’s broken inside but she acts all fine outside

Oh, she hides, oh she cries, but she never tells,
And the pain inside, it hurts like hell
She’s waiting for someone to put her out of that darkness,
Wondering if the world will ever stop being so heartless

She’s tired of the expectations, but still wants to live up to her reputations
She is exhausted but all the memories are haunted
Not letting her sleep at night, wondering if she’ll ever see the light
Oh she’s exhausted, of the expectations, of all of her imperfections

Is it maybe just a phase, should she keep on having some faith?
The people around, don’t see the frowns
The tears and the hurt that hides inside her heart,
All locked up, all clogged up,
They think it’s just in her brain

Oh, she’s tired of the expectations, but still wants to live up to her reputations,
So she hides, oh she cries, but she never tells, and hides the pain inside, which hurts like hell

Sometimes it’s just a normal day, and she’s all happy and gay,
But the days when she isn’t okay, people shrug it off thinking maybe it’s just another day

She’s waiting for someone to understand her,
Listen to her complaints as they come off like fire
Listen to her cries that go higher and higher
As the world keeps going darker and darker

The real her inside is begging her to realise
That this cruel world is not perfect, see it with your own eyes

So she just hides, and she cries
Until the pain subsides
Just to come again on another day,
As she again tries to make it go away

Oh, she just cries, and she hides,
Waiting for the pain to subside
Oh and she’s tired of the expectations
And waiting for comfort in anticipation
But the real her inside is begging her to realise
That this cruel world is not perfect,
And finally, she sees it with her own eyes
