Analysis of Bruises
Red rings around my wrists,
My skin somehow still resists,
From breaking and letting blood loose.
Yet I still go on and abuse.
Red slowly turns blue,
I begin anew.
Rubber band snapping so loud,
When no one is around.
Impossible to tell me to stop,
The pain knife-like sharp,
Feeling going through my skin,
Right into my mind where it settled in.
It all reminds me that I am a shadow,
Of a person you used to know.
Now I sit here, eating the fruit,
Of the great disaster whithin I dispute.
