Analysis of Silent Kept Wishes

Dismissed.
Silent kept wishes.

How many claimed,
To be of conscious minds.
Does it take to agree,
Following behind one decision made...
Is perfectly okay to accept that way.
With no one who sits,
Comfortable about it.
But witnessed nodding their approval.
Pretending havoc to create it,
Has been permitted to proceed.

How many would sit,
Knowing the odds are against...
The maintaining of their quality of life,
Is guaranteed to diminish.
If they sat to ignore,
A menace knocking on their door.
To believe if not to open it,
Will leave from them and not appear...
Anymore!
And yet many remain to stay believing,
Ignorance to condone...
Has them immuned,
From it entering into their home.

'Calm down!
CALM DOWN!
Now...
Who are you people?
And what is the problem here?
Protesting like unleashed savages.
This you are making very clear.'

'We are the people,
Who sat and listened quietly...
During a meeting.
And heard decisions made.
Affecting our quality of life.
Although we had better opinions.
But not then given to mention them!
We were told if we sat and said nothing.
This to do would be to our benefit.'

'And...
You are here voicing loudly in protest.
Is expected to accomplish what?
And for what reason are you upset?'

'It should be obvious.
We are upset by the outcome.
And the results we did not expect!
We want to change immediately,
What has happened to us.'

'I see.
Would that be before or after,
You all sat silently.
Demeaning to disapprove,
Of the others you had requested...
Removed from the meeting.
Because they were nonconformists.
Or thought them less,
To express their feelings at all to hear.'

'We were warned not to listen to them.'

'By who or whom?'

'The ones we followed.
And paid attention to.'

'Oh...
I understand.
So...
You are recruiting others,
To solve your problems?
And if I have no interest to be involved.
Would that make me less patriotic?
Or would I meet your approval,
If I agreed to allow...
My peace of mind to be disturbed!'

'This has nothing to do,
With a keeping of peace of mind.'
