Analysis of Don’t Stop Me There
Yeshiembet/Yeshi Gemaneh 1940 (Harar)
Don’t stop me where I am
Let me go further
Let me travel day and night
Walking, or driving or flying are not an option
I can travel with my memory
I have many things to recall
Many things to share
Don’t stop me there
I have many options to make
As far as I am here on the ground
There are many ways for travelling
I don’t need any companion
I can make it by myself
Let met travel further
Don’t stop me there
Until I get to my destination

About this poem
I think I can travel with my thoughts, as far as I am here on earth. My expression is based on personal experience of travelling to land of origin. Even not able to travel in person, I always travel with my thought.
