Analysis of Living in the shadows

A rusty blade on the floor.
Bloodstains trail to the door.
Silence contaminates the air.
This room is plastered with despair.
The haunting fear of her death.
The suffocating chills of desperation and regret.
Her lifeless body on the ground.
If only she had someone around.
She fought for a life he wanted to take.
Had second thoughts.
When it was to late.
Now she took control of his fate
