Analysis of Gender?
All my life i’ve been told I’m a girl
But for me those ideas seem to swirl
Gender is contract, or a social construct
But it is not an experiment i enjoyed to conduct
All my life i’ve wondered
Genger, How? Gender, Why?
Gender even sometimes makes me cry
So why i ask can’t you follow
This simple request that won't stop tomorrow
I am in the happy medium
But it does not mean i think i’m premium
All this space in between
And you laugh because i am a pre-teen
I have found myself, and who I am
So i ask, why can’t you just call me Sam
My pronouns are they/them so please respect me
I am young but i know, I am not a he or a she
