Analysis of No One Can Better Beat

Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)

No one can better beat the one,
Who decides that time has come...
To prove another direction done,
May offer more to explore.

That challenge to face and take it...
Is to make an effort endeavored,
Wishing with it wanted to believe...
It is possible to become done,
Being the best human they can be.
If desire remains maintained to achieve.

Without relying on the ease,
Of making common excuses made.
Everyday.
As if a habit addicted to routine.
Allowing negativity to beat them and win!

Accepting this to expect to lose.
Validating the need seeking it 'fixed'.
Leaving one left to sit.
Soothed.
And stupored.
In a welcoming of negativity.
Until the mind is made,
To become numbed.
And kicked about.
With others sharing in self doubt!
