Analysis of Forgive

The hand, you want to hold
The hand, you wanted to be held
Needs fusion of two souls
Forgive me for not providing the warmth

The touch that is so serene
The touch that is so sacred
One you value so much
Forgive me for not nurturing the feelings

The arms I want to embrace you in
The arms I want to be embraced in
Needs two hearts beating as one
Forgive me for not creating the rhythm

The rosy petals I love to kiss
The virgin kiss you dream to plant
Needs natural flow of love
Forgive me for not letting the spontaneity

Crave for each other we may, a long way to go
Yet I believe in you and you have faith in me
Will build a dream home one day, call our own
Till then forgive me to love me.

About this poem

Nothing hurts more than the hurt from "the love". Will an apology mend?
